Yup. So I'm finally settling into a minor groove here. I still have to go to the first meetings for my clubs, but I feel generally at ease. I'm making lots of friends which is awesome.

So, I don't really have that much to comment about other than the fact of, which many of you already know, I get to go to the Galapagos Islands in January. It's during winter break so I won't miss any class and it's for eleven days.

For at least six of these days, we're going to be on a boat with three people from a different college (two profs. and a student, I think) and two experts which live on the islands. We get to go snorkeling every day and possibly visit a volcano near by (I think it's called Kito) depending upon how active it is. Yikes!

The reason the trip is to the Galapagos this year is the 200th anniversary of Charles Darwin's birth and the 150th anniversary of his publication of his On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life. Lengthy title, right?!

It's for four credits and I'm totally excited. Ask me more questions, if you have them. I'm watching Project Runway now so I'm very distracted.
